CommentsWe continue our look at Breckenridge lodging options by further exploring some of the neighborhoods in Breckenridge that you may consider when planning your vacation this summer or next ski season. This next neighborhood, Shock Hill, is definitely one of the more distinctive neighborhoods when it comes to high quality vacation homes in Breckenridge. CommentsSo many people call me simply exhausted from sifting through the mass of Breckenridge Lodging on Rental By Owner sites. Once I let them know that I can listen to what they are looking for, then give them a short list of potential properties that will satisfy their criteria, the relief sets in. CommentsVacation rental homes are an excellent alternative to traditional hotels rooms. However, unlike hotels that have brand awareness or a certain reputation for quality, vacation rentals vary widely in quality, cleanliness and location! So there is more to it than just searching through a bunch of listings on vacation rental listing sites like VRBO.com and Vacationrentals.com. Sifting through the massive selection of listings is a daunting task in itself, not to mention the great deal of trust you're placing on the representation of the person listing the home for rent!

CommentsBreckenridge lodging guests shouldn’t miss biking in Breckenridge – and the rest of Summit County – in the summer. There are plenty of bike shops on Main Street that rent bikes, both for the backcountry and for cruising on the 40 miles of well-maintained paved paths that connect Breckenridge to Frisco, Dillon, Keystone and beyond.
